Nature of tools
Tools described in this section have been especially created so that, when you use them along with the measurements that you enter in Tape, it will automatically resize all the pattern pieces when you change the measurements. If you have created Standard sizes in Tape, then you may select a different size at the bottom left of your screen and the pattern will automatically resize. Height is the actual height of the person and Size is the actual bust size of the person.

An example of choosing Height and Size of an Individual who is 158cm tall and normally wears a size 30:<br>

As you can see from the above images, I have changed the size and B11 has moved slightly to the right (A4 to B11 is the only line in this example that I am actually using a formula from the measurements) and you can see that the move caused the front shoulder to move out of the image.

Nature of tools
As soon as you select a tool, there is a little help sentence that pops up in the bottom left corner, like this:
You can use a variaty of tools in Seamly2D to create your own garment patterns. Using different tools will create new points and lines in your drawing.

You can use formulas in your tools to create adaptive drawings. For example you can use individual measurements from SeamlyMe. Changing values in your formulas will automatically resize your pattern. Using a multisize measurement file, you can choose your actual height and size in the bottom right corner of the screen. Your pattern will resize accordingly.Import note:

Points and lines are created in a strictly hirachical order. You can only use a point, in the formula for your tools, which was created before.
When in doubt, see what this tells you to do.

Tools
ValentinaDraft Mode tools are currently grouped according to the object they create or use. You should take into account that grouping is conditional and used to make working with Valentina easier.
