The original tools used for CI in support of the Valentina project included appveyor, travis, launchpad, and bintray.

The windows and Mac versions of the software were made available by providing the user with a URL to find the file which they could then download and install. Because of the differences in the way software is packaged and delivered in Ubuntu, launchpad was used to release software for Ubuntu.
