So, you've traced out your pattern with the Workpiece Tool, & have likely been confused by how limited the Workpiece Tool dialog box was compared to the number of options greyed out. But now you've made it to the Detail screen & are wanting to know just what all you can do now.

This is where you add all those little touches that breathe life into your pattern. First, we will go over the tools in the Detail toolbox that have just opened up to you. Second we will discuss (or is it monoscuss?) the pattern piece options dialog, (which you previously met as the Workpiece Tool dialog,) which is now fully operational.
